Hello Dr. Evangelos Viazis, thank you for taking the time to talk with us! How did you get started in music? What was the triggering moment?
DEV: It started quietly, almost like a whisper inside me. There wasnât one big momentâjust a growing need to express what words alone couldnât capture. Over time, melodies and ideas started forming naturally. One day, I simply followed that instinct, and from then on, there was no going back.
What inspired you to write your latest single?
DEV: My latest single, « USA, Land of Dreams », was born out of deep admiration for the United Statesâa place that represents possibilities, strength, and unstoppable energy. I wanted to create something that would capture that spirit and send a wave of positivity across the world. Itâs a tribute, not just to a country, but to the idea of dreaming big.
What is your creative process like? Do you prefer starting with the music or the lyrics?
DEV: I always begin with emotion. Sometimes it comes through a phrase, other times through a melody. But once I feel that spark, the rest follows almost on its own. I donât force itâif itâs real, it flows.
As an independent artist, what has been the biggest challenge in advancing your career?
DEV: Time and balance. I already have a demanding and fulfilling professional life, and fitting music into that requires real dedication. But I believe that when something truly matters, you make time for itâno excuses.
In terms of your budget, how do you allocate it between music creation, video production, and promotion?
DEV: Roughly: 40% promotion, 30% video production, 30% music creation. A song needs wings to flyâpromotion is what gives it those wings.

What are your goals for 2025?
DEV: I donât count songsâI follow inspiration. And itâs already pouring in. Iâll continue to create, explore new styles, and surprise even myself. As for live performances, I donât chase the obvious. When the moment is right, the world will know.

DEV: Every note I release carries a piece of who I am. My music isnât just entertainmentâitâs my message to the world. And trust me, Iâve only just begun.
