🇭🇺 Interview — Bradlux Music: When Sound Becomes a Place to Heal

|

Behind Bradlux Music stands István Kovács, a creator for whom sound became survival. Born from loss, memory and love, his project transforms grief into cinematic electronic landscapes where emotion leads the way. With the release of “Boundless”, the final chapter of The Synthesis Trilogy, Bradlux Music delivers one of the most intimate and powerful works of his career. For MP4 Entertainment, he opens up about the origins of his music, his creative process, and the philosophy that drives every note.

How did you start making music? What was the trigger?

BM : Music was always present in my life, but for a long time it stayed in the background. Everything changed when my partner, Judit, fell into a coma. I spent an entire year by her side. In that silence, words became useless. I started playing music for her, hoping it could reach her in ways medicine couldn’t.

After she passed away, I realized I couldn’t speak about my pain — but I could express it through sound. Music became my refuge, my oxygen. Bradlux Music was born from that moment. It wasn’t a career decision, it was a necessity.

What inspired your latest single, “Boundless”?

BM : “Boundless” came from a moment of peace after a long period of mourning. I was looking at the horizon and suddenly understood that Judit wasn’t gone — she was everywhere. That realization changed everything.

The track reflects that feeling of infinity. When the violins rise and the orchestration expands, it’s the sound of the soul breaking free. It’s my way of saying that love doesn’t end when a heart stops beating. It transforms.

Your visuals are very striking. How do you approach music videos?

BM : For me, a music video is the visual extension of the soul of a track. AI plays a key role, but not as a shortcut. I use it like a digital paintbrush. I bring the emotion, the memories, the vision — AI helps me translate them into cinematic worlds.

It allows me to explore metaphysical spaces, to visualize the connection between life and what lies beyond. Without it, The Synthesis Trilogy wouldn’t exist in this form.

How do you usually create a song? Lyrics or music first?

BM : Always music first. Everything starts with a vibration, an emotion too heavy for words. I build the soundscape first, and only then do the lyrics appear. Frequencies can reach places language can’t. The words anchor the story, but the music carries the truth.

Your greatest strength as an artist? And your biggest flaw?

BM : My strength is emotional honesty. I don’t hide behind trends or masks. Every sound is real.
My flaw is perfectionism. This project is a monument to Judit, and I constantly fear not doing her memory justice. Letting a track go is incredibly difficult.

An object you can’t live without?

BM : My headphones. They’re a gateway. They allow me to disconnect from the world and reconnect with what really matters.

Your goals for 2026?

BM : I don’t chase numbers. I want this music to reach the people who need it most. If “Boundless” can offer even a moment of peace to someone in pain, then it has fulfilled its purpose.

A final word?

BM : Love has no boundaries. Music has no end.
Everything I create is for her — and everything I share is for you.
Stay boundless.
